Wahoo teams up with BURGESS for Monaco
Wahoo is teaming up with the yacht brokerage giant Burgess to provide water transport for its clients at The Monaco Yacht Show.
We are shipping two of our flagship Barracudas to the principality this September to help ferry Burgess clients around the superyachts berthed in the Monaco’s Port Hercule.
Burgess is one of the world’s most respected names in the superyacht industry. They will have 9 yachts at Monaco including a spectacular 73 metre yacht which is reported to be worth around €75 million.
Burgess chose Wahoo after sea trailing the Barracuda in Southampton.
Rory Boyle, Naval Architect, Burgess Technical Services, said:
“The Wahoo Barracuda impressed us enormously with the level of finish, the astonishing performance and the refined handling giving a fantastic level of comfort, even in a large seaway. This is where RIB meets limousine, a very versatile Superyacht tender”
Wahoo MD Paul Holland said he was flattered by the attention the new Barracuda has received.
“To be selected by Burgess above any other manufacturer is praise indeed. The Barracuda is a fabulous boat with stunning performance and handling characteristics. It’s a high quality product and a fitting partner for Burgess.”
The show, which runs from September 23-26, brings together professionals from the international luxury yachting industry; ship-builders and designers, equipment suppliers, brokers and service providers. The MYS is renowned throughout the superyacht world for being the show that must not be missed in the luxury yachting sector because it is the only in-the-water show exclusively devoted to Superyachts of at least 25 meters in length.
